Radford's last victory at Pulaski County came in the late 1960s when it was a half-mile dirt track.
With the victory in Saturday night's 100-lap opening race, Radford, 59, holds a four-point lead over Gene Pack of Rural Hall, N.C.
Sharing the spotlight with the Late Model Stocks will be the Mini Stock drivers, who will be competing for 40 laps. Also on tap are 35 laps for the Street Stocks and 25 each for the Modified Mini and Pure Stocks.
