DON SAKERS TO SPEAK AT SCI-FI GATHERING

Writer and editor Don Sakers will be addressing Virginia Tech students and science fiction fans this weekend as a guest of Technicon, the 8th Annual Virginia Tech Science Fiction and Fantasy Conference.

Sakers is the author of "The Leaves of October" and editor of "Carmen Miranda's Ghost is Hunting Space Station Three." He will participate in panel discussions and present a workshop for aspiring writers.

Technicon will continue all weekend at the Donaldson Brown Continuing Education Center at Virginia Tech. For information and lecture times, call 953-1214.
