Elma Blanche Long "Boots" Trammell, age 75, of Salem died Thursday. She was the widow of James A. Trammell and was retired from Eli Lilly. Surviving are her mother, Cora A. Long, Bridgewater; six sisters, Lela V. Holsinger; Lucile V. Ruleman, both of Staunton; Helen E. Shifflett, Grottoes; Verla Mae Curry; Madge E. Click; Phyllis A. Miller, all of Bridgewater; three brothers, Robert E. Long; Harold "Don" Long; Elmer Roy Long, Jr., all of Bridgewater. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12:00 Noon at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem with the Rev. B. Conrad Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
