ACCOUNTANT OFFERS DRIVE-IN SERVICES
Even if a pro fills out your tax return, you're the one who has to collect
the information and get it to your accountant. Because that's often in dribs
and drabs, a Georgia certified public accountant is emulating banks by
operating a drive-in lane. At David Pettigrew's five-member accounting firm in
Milledgeville, you can drop off W-2's, bank statements or other tax records
from the car window.
"It was raining one day when I went to the bank, so I just went to the
drive-in," said Pettigrew. "I thought this would be great for my offices,"
which moved to new quarters in December, complete with the new drive-through.
