\ COUNTRY: WPSK's "Star Trax" airs Sunday, 10 p.m., and this week's guest is Ronnie McDowell. WPSK's "CD Feature of the Week" airs Sunday, 11 p.m., and has cuts from the Kentucky Headhunters new "Electric Barnyard" release.
And weekdays on WPSK at 12:45 p.m. is "America's Music Makers" with host Bob Kingsley. This week's program will spotlight country stars Holly Dunn, Mark Chestnut, Vince Gill, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Paul Overstreet.
WKEX has a live country music show today at noon from its studio featuring local country group, Southbound.
\ RACING: WRAD and WRIQ have Pulaski County Speedway coverage on Saturday, 7:30 p.m. WJJJ and WVVV air "Fast Lane `91" Saturday, 5-7 p.m., with live race updates and previews from the speedway. WRAD and WRIQ have a speedway call-in show Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
In NASCAR racing, WJJJ and WNRV carry the Bristol International Raceway Valleydale 500 on Sunday, 12:45 p.m.
\ BASEBALL: Hear it this week over WVVV, WJJJ and WKEX when Virginia Tech is home this week against South Carolina on Sunday, 2 p.m.; against UVa on Wednesday at 3 p.m.; and against Tulane on Friday at 3 p.m. Virginia Tech and Radford University play one another in Salem on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
\ LIVE: Thursday, Friday and next Saturday, WPSK will be at the New River Valley Mall for "The Spring Fling" and will be giving away an all-expenses-paid weekend trip to Nashville. Listen for details or come to the remotes on Thursday and Friday, 4-7 p.m., and Saturday, 1-4 p.m.

On April 28, WFNR will sponsor a gospel and bluegrass sing at Shawsville High School, 2-5 p.m., to benefit Leona Elliott, who needs a liver transplant.
\ CHRISTIAN ROCK: "Street Light Cafe" airs Sunday, 7:30-9 a.m. on WVVV-Rock 105, with host Don Webber.\ COMEDY: WVRU simulcasts "What Ever Happened To . . . ," Sunday, 5:30 p.m., which features TV, music and film stars as they look back on their lives.
And catch WVRU's "Hub City Spoke Repair," Wednesday, 9:30 p.m., which takes a satirical look at current affairs.
\ ALTERNATIVE: "Mash Potato Radio" has stories, readings & music at 11 a.m. over WUVT's airwaves.
\ ROCK: WVRU's "Long Live Rock," Monday, 9 p.m., continues its Led Zeppelin feature. This week's program covers the years 1971-75.
On WVVV this week: "In the Studio," Sunday, 9 p.m., has Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart with "Little Queen" and "Dog & Butterfly." "Rock Line" airs Monday, 11:30 p.m., with Yes, Part I. \ DANCE: WUVT's "House Party" airs 9 p.m.-midnight Saturday.
WPSK hosts the "Country Dance Party" at the Blacksburg Marriott each Sunday. Dance lessons begin at 7 p.m. and the party starts at 9.
\ INTERNATIONAL: Saturday, WUVT's line up is classical music, 6-9 a.m.; Greek broadcasting, 9-11 a.m.; "The Persian Show," 11 a.m.; "The International Show" at 1 p.m.; Reggae, 3-6 p.m. and "Urban Blight," an eclectic mix of thrash, rap and reggae, plays 6-9. And Sunday, it's reggae, 3-6 p.m.
\ NEWS: WKEX's "Focus on the Family" airs twice weekdays with "Faith Must Be Tough," Monday and Tuesday; "The Glory of God in Creation," Wednesday and Thursday; and "The Male Point of View," Friday.
WVRU's "Talk of the Town," Wednesday, 8 p.m. and Friday, 1:30 p.m., features Radford University's Don Martin, associate professor of human services, and Maggie Martin, director of admissions for the graduate school, who will discuss family influences on obesity.
