UNIVERSITY WOMEN HOLDING BOOK SALE

The Blacksburg branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its annual book sale April 25-27 at Patrick Henry Center.

Contributions can be made at the drop boxes at Kroger and Kmart or on April 20, 10 a.m.-noon at Patrick Henry Center near Food Lion. Contributors may also call 552-0030, 951-8164 or 552-1963 to donate books.

The sale will raise money for the AAUW college re-entry scholarships named in memory of Polly Cobb and Lucy Lee Lancaster, as well as to sponsor other educational programs.

The scholarships help women whose education has been interrupted and who need assistance to continue school.

The book sale will run 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on April 25-26; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on April 27.
