Julia Boller Snyder Spencer, age 92, died Friday, April 12, 1991, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Kinderhook, New York in 1898 to the late Issac V.A. and Julia H. Snyder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Earl Spencer, a retired mathematics professor at Virginia Tech. Mrs. Spencer was a graduate in the 1925 class of Cornell University. She was a member of Blacksburg United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Earl and Carole Spencer, Blacksburg; one niece, Jeanette Brown, Murphys, California; one nephew, Theodore Snyder, Rochester, New York. A graveside service will be Monday, April 15, 11:00 a.m. in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Minnick officiating. The family will receive friends at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Sunday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society, P.O.
