Marie Plymale Hager, one who loved life to its fullest, age 60, died Friday in a Roanoke hospital. She was a longtime teacher in the Radford City school system. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Dublin Branch. She was a member of the D.A.R. and a member of the National Teachers Association. Surviving are her husband, Ralph B. Hager Sr., Radford; two sons, Ralph B. Hager Jr., Fayetteville, N.C.; Charles Richard Hager, Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Karen Sue Haymore and Suzette Marie Friese, both of High Point, N.C.; her mother, Ruby Marie Plymale, Salem; one brother, John Richard Plymale Jr., Harrisonburg; ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. E.H. Lovell and Bishop Steve Haymore officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
