PH, FLEMING ATHLETES PLACE IN TRACK MEET

William Fleming and Patrick Henry competed Saturday in the Dan Crowe Relays at Dobyns Bennett High School.

No team scores were kept.

Mike Ferguson of Patrick Henry won the triple jump, placed in four other events and was voted the outstanding boys' field event performer. Arminta Crosby of Patrick Henry won the 100-meter dash, was a member of the winning 400 relay team, placed in two other events and was voted the outstanding girls' running event performer.

William Fleming's Monica Cabbler won the triple jump, was second in the long jump and was honored as the outstanding girls' field event performer.

Paul Paige of William Fleming also had an excellent day, placing in six events. Patrick Henry's Felicia Godley won in the long jump.
