3 SOUGHT IN ROBBERY OF BLAND STORE

The incident happened about 4:15 a.m. at the Sentry Food Mart on Virginia 21 and U.S. 52 near Exit 10 of Interstate 77, according to the Bland County Sheriff's Office.

Police said the robbers escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.

The Sheriff's Office said the matter was still under investigation Saturday night by Investigator W. D. Dehart. Virginia State Police assisted in the search with dogs brought in from the Bland Correctional Center.
