Mrs. Alice Gillespie, of Roanoke, and Mr. Robert McDonald, of Winchester, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to Pete Brecht, of Charlottesville. He is the son of Mrs. Joyce Harlow, of Houston, Texas, and Mr. Warren Brecht, of Nyack, N.Y. Jennifer is an upcoming graduate of the University of Virginia. Pete is a 1990 graduate of the University of Virginia and is employed by the University. A September wedding is planned.
