ENNIS-BANNISTER

Joyce Lucille Bannister and Hugh Wesley Ennis, II, were married April 13, 1991, in Unity Church Roanoke Valley. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Alan Rowbotham. The reception was held at Scarlett's Restaurant. The maid of honor was Miss Nancy Bannister, sister of the bride. The best man was Mr. Hugh W. Ennis, Sr., father of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Serena Bannister, Sr., Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and is employed by J.C. Penney as a Registered Cosmetologist and Market Trainer. The groom is the son of Hugh and Doris Ennis, Sr., Roanoke. He graduated from William Fleming High School and is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. He also attended N.C. A&T State University in Greensboro, N. C. He is also a member of the U. S. Army Reserves. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after the wedding trip to South Carolina.
