HAMILTON-BLEVINS
Connie Troutt Blevins and Thomas E. Hamilton, Jr., were united in marriage
at The Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, April 13, 1991, at 4 o'clock. The Rev.
William H. Bowles, uncle of the bride, was the officiating minister. The
reception was held in the Fellowship Hall of the church. The matron of honor
was Jennifer Furrow, daughter of the bride. The bridesmaids were Stephanie and
Denise Blevins, daughters of the bride, also Melissa Cawley, a cousin.
Flowergirl was Emily O'Brien and ringbearer was Blaine O'Brien, also cousins.
The best man was Bill Hamilton, son of the groom. Ushers were Gary Hamilton,
son of the groom, Michael Hamilton, brother of the groom, and Danny Morgan, a
brother-in-law. The guestbook was attended by Diane Rice. The bride's gown was
of candlelight satin and imported lace. She carried a bouquet of mixed silk
candlelight flowers bordered and decked with the bridal lace. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Troutt, of Montvale, and is employed with I.T.T.
E.O.P.D., Roanoke, Virginia. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
T.E. Hamilton, Sr., of Roanoke. He is also employed with I.T.T. E.O.P.D. Out
of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Burnell, of Chicago, Illinois. After
a short wedding trip, the couple will make their home in Roanoke.
