PORTER-JENKINS

Sarah Jernigan Jenkins and Michael Todd Porter were married April 13, 1991 in St. John's Episcopal Church. The officiating clergyman was the Reverend Canon David Upton. The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Sawyer. The bride is the daughter of Molly Roper Jenkins of Lynchburg, and William Hinrichs Jenkins of Lynchburg. She graduated from Seven Hills School and Lynchburg College. The groom, son of Dennis Bruce Porter of Salem, and Terrella Lee Houston, of Estero, Fla., is a graduate of Northside High School and Emory and Henry College. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
