Beatrice E. Chapman, age 77, of Roanoke died Saturday. She was the widow of Edward R. Chapman. Surviving are two daughters, Billie Jean Kessler, Roanoke; Peggy Evans, Nashville, Tenn.; one son, Steve Chapman, Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Charles G. Combs and Tommy A. Combs, both of Roanoke; a sister, Mary Barker, Bristol, Tenn.; twelve grandchildren. Graveside services will be in Evergreen Burial Park at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Paul W. Turner will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
