Miss Mary Jane Graves, age 69, of 2806 Oakland Boulevard died April 13, 1991, in a local hospital following an extended illness of cancer. She is survived by two sisters, Susie G. Miller, Richmond; Betty G. James, Berkley, Calif.; one brother, James O. Graves, Whispering Pines, N.C.; eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Evergreen Burial Park 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Dr. Daniel E. Scott officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be sent to Virginia Heights Baptist Church, Roanoke Memorial Hospital Hospice Services, or a charity of ones choice. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke.
