OBIT-BEAMER, H.

Mrs. Hilda Poff Beamer, age 74, of Salem, died April 14, 1991. She was the widow of George E. Beamer. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Allan L. and Edie C. Beamer of Greene County; R. Michael and Shirley J. Beamer, Barry E. and Mary Lou Beamer, and George Steven Beamer, all of Salem, two brothers, Edward Poff and Curtis Poff, both of Fla.; grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Matthew, Roger, Timmy and Tammy Beamer; also surviving, five great-grandchildren; a beloved aunt, Vera Lantz of Burlington, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with J. W. Hatton, Pastor of Fort Lewis Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call Monday and Tuesday. Arrangements are being handled by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
