WYTHEVILLE - Guy Marcus Bishop, Sr., age 77, of Route 3, died Sunday evening in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was retired from Radford Arsenal. He is survived by his wife, Helen Slaughter Bishop; two sons, Guy M. Bishop, Jr., Pulaski; Jerry Bishop, Rural Retreat; two brothers, Burman Bishop, Pulaski; Griff Bishop, Christiansburg; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Virginia Conference Cemetery, Dublin, with Rev. Mike Slaughter, officiating. Visiting will be Tuesday after 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.
