PETREE, JACK C.

Jack C. Petree, age 75, of Roanoke, died Monday in a Roanoke hospital. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, served in the Army Air Force during World War II, and was the owner of Culligan Soft Water Service of Roanoke, Inc. He was a member of Lakeland Masonic Lodge #190, the Scottish Rite and Kazim Temple and was an Amateur Radio operator. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary Alice Spratt Petree, Roanoke; daughter, Jacquelyn Petree Hillen; two grandsons, Brian Reed Hillen and Carter George Hillen, all of Conway, S.C. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Charles G. Fuller at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
