PULASKI BAND MEMBER SELECTED FOR SOUSA

DeAnna Jon Wyatt, a member of the Pulaski County High School Band, directed by Bob Priest, has been selected for membership in the Sousa National High School Honors Band. DeAnna, who plays the trumpet in the high school band, is the daughter of Jon and Mary Wyatt of Fairlawn.

The band, sponsored by the John Philip Sousa Foundation, a non-profit organization, is composed of more than 100 students, representing most states of the nation. The band will perform in George Washington University's Lizner Auditorium at 8 p.m. on May 11, following 3 1/2 days of rehearsals.
