The fourth-ranked Virginia men's lacrosse team had no trouble with VMI, winning 27-5 in Scott Stadium in a game originally scheduled for Lexington but moved because of bad weather.

Virginia (8-2), which cruised to an 8-0 first-quarter lead, got four goals from Chris Diggs, Steve Wilt and Kevin Pehlke, the nation's top goal-scorer. Wilt added six assists.
