Trials were set for June and July. Four others also facing federal charges will be arraigned later this month and May. Also Monday, three of four people facing state charges from the raids indicated they would plead innocent at their trials.
The people, all but one of them students, were indicted March 19 by a federal grand jury. On March 21, federal and local authorities raided three fraternity houses near the university looking for the eight.
The three fraternity houses - Delta Upsilon, Phi Epsilon and Tau Kappa Epsilon - were seized by the federal government. Alumni groups, which own the houses, have filed with the court to regain their property.
