BLACKSBURG TO HOLD WORKSHOP ON OCCULT

A workshop on "The Occult-Involved Youth," will be held April 24, at the Blacksburg Holiday Inn, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Dale Trahan, a licensed clinical social worker, will lead the workshop designed for mental health professionals, clergy, guidance counselors, teachers, law enforcement officers and others who counsel youths.

Trahan, program consultant for the Center for the Treatment of Ritualist Deviants at Hartgrove Hospital in Chicago, will give a brief history of occultism, discuss signs and symptoms of occult involvement and suggest treatment strategies. Trahan will close with a question-and-answer session.
