Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, Seton Hall's P.J. Carlesimo and the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers' Lenny Wilkens have been picked as assistants to Chuck Daly with the U.S. Olympic basketball team, USA Basketball announced.

Daly, coach of the Detroit Pistons of the NBA, was chosen earlier as the first pro coach to direct a U.S. Olympic team.

"I couldn't be happier with the committee's selection," Daly said in a statement released by USA Basketball. He said he was "looking forward to working with them to ultimately bring back the gold from Barcelona."

The 1992 Olympic basketball competition in Spain begins July 28 and ends Aug. 7.
