Jessie Thomas Jones, age 80, died Monday in a Salem hospital. She is survived by three sons, Lawrence S. Jones, Louisville, Ken.; Norris D. Jones, Salem; Charles S. Jones, New Castle; two daughters, Kathryn J. Garman, Salem; Barbara J. Wyatt, Chesapeake, Va.; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; very special daughter-in-law, Sue Jones. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Boitnott Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Huffman Memorial Park.
