UNIVERSITY OKS RECRUITING BY MILITARY

The University of Richmond has joined other Virginia universities in opening its law school to military recruiters, a split from a law school accrediting agency policy.

University officials had no comment Tuesday.

The American Association of Law Schools, a Washington-based accrediting agency, requires law schools to ban recruiting on their campuses by employers, including the military, that discriminate against homosexuals.
