L.A. POLICE STORY RUN INTO THE GROUND

THIS CONCERNS the story about Los Angeles police that has been on television and in the papers for weeks. I think they have run it in the ground long enough.

You don't know what happened before that nosey man started that video camera. What are the police supposed to do, just stand there and let the blacks do whatever they want? If the man had been white, it would never have been on television or in the papers.

That's all you hear: discrimination. I think it's the white people who should complain. They better wake up and smell the roses and get someone to stand up for our rights.

I don't think the Los Angeles police chief should lose his job for what a couple of the police did to protect themselves. HILDA HAMILTON VINTON
