Pryor was "doing very well," according to a written statement released by his office. It said he underwent an angiogram test, but results were not immediately available.
President Bush telephoned Pryor on Tuesday afternoon, the senator's office said. It said Pryor told the president, "I'm out of the woods, but I still need some rest."
