Achsa M. Frase died Easter Sunday, March 31, 1991. She went to be with her Lord just three days before her 96th birthday. January 1965, she was Mother of the Year for religious activities in the Roanoke Valley and, for 12 years, was house mother, hostess, and general confidant for the girls at Shenandoah Bible College. Mrs. Frase was a student of prophecy for over 80 years and took great interest in current affairs as related to Bible prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Frase; and only son, Milan E. Frase, of Coshocton, Ohio. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. John H. Barber, of Wauseon, Ohio; and Mrs. Sam H. Metcalf, of Newport News, Virginia, with whom she made her home after her husband's death. She leaves 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was interred on her 96th birthday at Wauseon, Ohio. Funeral arrangements were made by Weymouth Funeral Home in Newport News.
