Mr. William Moses Poindexter Jr., age 62, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday. Survivors include one sister, Betty J. Marsh, Portsmouth, Va.; two uncles, Rudolph McAfee, Roanoke; James McAfee, Christiansburg; devoted niece, Gwendolyn Brown, Canada; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday 5:00 p.m. in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Dwight O. Steele officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at that time.
