CHESS CLUB SPONSORING TWO OPEN TOURNAMENTS

The Chess Club of Virginia Tech is sponsoring two open chess tournaments sanctioned by the United States Chess Federation.

The four-round beginner's tournament will be held this evening at the Blacksburg Public Library. Registration is at 6:45 p.m.

The fourth Virginia Tech Open Chess Tournament will be Saturday at the Johnston Student Center on the Tech campus. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Three rounds will be played.
