High levels of hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide have been found in two separate tests at the branch, which DMV officials expect will be closed through today.
At least two people have had to be taken by ambulance from the office, and at least eight employees have complained of shortness of breath, dizziness or nausea.
DMV officials said the branch was closed briefly April 4 after four employees went home sick. DMV decided to test the air after a week of complaints from employees. - Associated Press
