It could take months for assisted living quarters to become available at Elm Park Estates retirement apartments in Roanoke County. A story in the April 14 newspaper said there were plans to designate some apartments at the Roanoke County complex on 419 for assisted living, but the story did not give a time frame for this to happen. Ken Bednar, a spokesman for the complex, said the process could take a long time, and he didn't want people to think the service was currently available.
