RELIGION BRIEFS

RANDY LEDSOME, music director at First Church of the Nazarene for six years, has resigned to devote more time to the evangelism ministry of the church. Linda Lewis will be his successor.

\ REVIVAL SERVICES will begin Sunday and continue through Friday at White Rock Baptist Church at Hardy. The Rev. Jerry Browning of Louisville, Ky., will preach at 11 a.m. Sunday and nightly at 7:30. On April 25, a concert by Daisy McGrew at 7 will precede the service.

\ A FAMILY SPIRITUAL RETREAT is scheduled May 24-26 at Camp Bethel in Botetourt County. Mary Jessup, a member of the religion faculty at Springfield College in Illinois, will be the leader. Jessup will speak at the opening Friday night program at 8:30 and the following day at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Memorial Day weekend retreat, an annual cooperative project of Churches of the Brethren, is open by advance registration to others. \ ISLAM AND THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT will be the theme of the Rev. Charles Davis, a representative of Africa Inland Missions, Saturday night at 6 in Blue Ridge. The program will be at Glade Creek Baptist Church, 331 Webster Road.
