HOMEWORK IS JUST A TELEPHONE CALL AWAY

Homework Helpline, a project of Chapter 1 and Educational Partnerships of the Roanoke public schools, is available to help first- through fifth-graders with their schoolwork.

Pupils and parents may call 981-2285 Monday through Thursday between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. to obtain help from qualified volunteers. Referral also is available to free neighborhood tutoring programs.
