The centers will open June 10 and will run for nine weeks from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The sites will be at Hurt Park, 1633 Salem Ave. S.W., and Lincoln Terrace, 1801 Dunbar St. N.W. If there is need, a third center might open in Southeast Roanoke.
The fee will be on a sliding scale and includes at least two field trips per week, 4-H activities, arts programs, outdoor play, games and crafts. Children also will receive breakfast, lunch and two snacks.
