TAP TO OFFER CHILD CARE AT 2 SITES THIS SUMMER

Total Action Against Poverty will operate summer child-care centers for children ages 3-11.

The centers will open June 10 and will run for nine weeks from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The sites will be at Hurt Park, 1633 Salem Ave. S.W., and Lincoln Terrace, 1801 Dunbar St. N.W. If there is need, a third center might open in Southeast Roanoke.

The fee will be on a sliding scale and includes at least two field trips per week, 4-H activities, arts programs, outdoor play, games and crafts. Children also will receive breakfast, lunch and two snacks.

For more information and applications, call Carolyn Hooper at 345-3565 or 345-3502.
