BLACKSBURG - Evelyn Walters Smith, age 64, of 1373 Jennelle Road died Thursday, April 17, 1991 at the home of her daughter in Ohio. Surviving are her husband, David V. Smith; three daughters, Christine S. Spano, Cleveland, Ohio, Shirley S. Levy, Radford, Carol S. Gibbs, Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Dean Long, Blacksburg, Cynthia Long, Dallas, Texas, David Long, Roanoke; Carrie Gibbs, Susan Gibbs, both of Ft. Worth; one sister, Madaline Sumpter, Roanoke. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the North Fork Baptist Church conducted by Mrs. Becky Pennington and Rev. Raymond Klaiber. Interment will follow in the North Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
