STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL PLANNED FOR MAY 3-4

Community School's 11th annual Strawberry Festival will take place May 3 and May 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Crestar Plaza in downtown Roanoke.

Desserts will include strawberry shortcakes, strawberries dipped in chocolate, strawberry slushes and sundaes.

Tickets are $2.50-$3.50. They may be purchased at the event or in advance from any Community School parent, downtown Heironimus, Imagination Station at Towers Shopping Center or Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op at Grandin Village. For more information, call 563-5036.
