CARRINGTON'S GOAL LIFTS W&L WOMEN

Washington and Lee's Angie Carrington scored with one second remaining to squeak by Bridgewater 6-5 in ODAC women's lacrosse Thursday.

Carrington and Lisa Dowling each scored two goals for the Generals (6-4 overall, 3-2 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference). W&L won its fifth straight game.

Tricia Hyer and Robin Moore scored two goals apiece for Bridgewater (5-7, 3-4).
