ALLOWING RACING AN OUTRAGE FOR CITY

THE "YES" vote on allowing racing cars with their deafening noise, plus traffic in literally the front yard of a hospital where people are suffering, dying, and in the terminal agony of cancer, is an outrage for this beautiful city and Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

My prayers through my husband's cancer ordeal were my only comfort. Noise was not needed for either of us. There but for the grace of God could be any one of us.

I sincerely hope this shameful decision for profit at the expense of the sick and dying will not be picked up for national disclosure.
