Tazewell County Supervisor Jack Reasor is vice chairman, Buchanan County Supervisor Earl Scott is secretary and Dickenson County Supervisor Ira Sullivan, treasurer.
They were elected at the commission's annual meeting earlier this month.
Brown says the district will continue its industrial-development efforts with its four member counties.
"We must always have available industrial sites and buildings for industrial prospects," he said. "If we're going to survive and prosper, the only way we can do it is to have job opportunities for our high school and college graduates."

Brown said the fate of the center would be decided in the next few months.
