OBIT-HANCOCK, L.

Mrs. Lorene Cooper Hancock, age 73, of Roanoke, died Friday in a local hospital. She was the widow of Berger B. Hancock and was retired from the Kroger Company. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gale H. and Rodney B. Garst; grandchildren, Susan Elizabeth Garst and Barry Walter Garst; a sister, Hettie C. Ferrell, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 12:00 noon Monday, April 22, 1991, with the Rev. Carter L. Sloan officiating. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
