Miss Laura Mae Hylton, age 97, of Roanoke died Friday. Miss Hylton was a retired minister with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She served as a missionary in China for 13 years during World War II. She is survived by three nephews, Roy Hylton, Salem; George Hylton, Roanoke; and David Hylton, California. Also surviving are four nieces, Ms. Virginia Hylton, Ms. Vivian Radford, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Elizabeth Eubanks, Georgia; Ms. Mary Correa, Florida. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:00 noon at Lotz Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Walter Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lotz Roanoke Chapel, Franklin Road.
