HOLDREN-BOGATY

Diane Lynne Bogaty and William "Chip" Edward Holdren, Jr., were married April 20, 1991 in First Baptist Church, Roanoke with the Reverend Dr. Charles G. Fuller officiating. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel-Tanglewood. The matron of honor was Denise Bogaty Smith, of Pittsburgh, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Lysa Wilson, Carla Canty, Jeannie Moore, Carla Webb, all of Roanoke; Rebecca L. Holdren Ball, of Atlanta, sister of the groom; Karen S. Cross, of Richmond and Margaret Rooklin, of Charlottesville. The bride's escort was Homer G. Murray, of Boones Mill. The guestbook was attended by Lisa Williams, of Roanoke. The flowergirl was Alicia E. Smith, of Pittsburgh, the bride's niece. The best man was William E. Holdren, father of the groom. Ushers were John Wilson and Ric Heinemann, both of Roanoke; Jim Ball, of Atlanta; Gregg Smith, of Pittsburgh; Kent Clouser, of Stuart, Fla.; Lee Sansom and Bill Zint, III, both of Dallas, Tx. The ringbearer was J. Will Heinemann, of Roanoke. The bride is the daughter of Dolores E. Bogaty, of Pittsburgh and the late Albert F. Bogaty. She is a graduate of West Virginia University and is employed as a medical representative for Lederle Pharmaceutical Laboratories. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Holdren, of Roanoke, is a graduate of Elon College and is employed as a corporate officer with Holdren's, Inc. The couple will make their home in Roanoke after a honeymoon cruise to the Western Caribbean.
