SIGRIST-WILLIAMSON
Debra Elaine Williamson and Gerard Phillip Sigrist were married April 20,
1991 in Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church by Dr. J. Harris Stephens. A
reception was held at Mountain View Gardens. Kathi McDaniel, friend, was the
maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Sandra Williamson, sister of the bride and
Teresa Leonard, friend. Amber Hartwell was the flowergirl. David Knight,
friend, was the best man. The ushers were Eric Sigrist, brother of the groom
and James Tipton, friend. James Tipton, II, was the ringbearer. The guestbook
was attended by Dianne Hawley. The bride's gown was satin and lace with a high
collar, long sleeves and cathedral train with cut out lace. She carried a
cascading bouquet of orchids. Debra, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norris
Williamson of Blue Ridge, is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Ohio
University. She is employed by Valley View Mall Marketing. Geri, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Gerhard Sigrist of Roanoke is a graduate of Cave Spring High School
and Virginia Western Community College. He is employed by Alpine Sewing
Machine Company. Following a wedding trip to Switzerland, the couple will live
in Roanoke.
