RAGLAND ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. H. Warren Ragland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 20 at the Quality Inn, I-81 & 419. It was hosted by their five sons and daughters-in-law. The couple were married April 16, 1941, in Ellicott City, Md. The lived in Roanoke for 27 years and now reside in Boones Mill, Va. She is the former Doris G. Dodson, of Arlington, Va. Their children are H. Warren Ragland, Jr., White Pines, Tenn.; Doris Elizabeth Ragland, deceased; J. Benjamin Ragland, Suffolk, Va.; James W. Ragland, Nashville, Tenn.; Paul W. Ragland and David F. Ragland, both of Roanoke, Va. They have 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is retired from the Washington, D.C., Fire Dept. She is a housewife. They belong to Boones Mill Church of the Nazarene. Over 100 friends and relatives attended the celebration.
