VILLAS BEING BUILT AT GOLF COURSE AT LAKE

Construction has begun on six villas overlooking the golf course at Chestnut Creek residential community near Smith Mountain Lake. The villas, which are being built two to a building, carry a pre-construction price of $160,000.

The villas are designed for minimal maintenance, said David Smith, president of Chestnut Creek Properties Inc. An owners' association will take care of exterior maintenance.

Smith is targeting golf enthusiasts with the villa project. Chestnut Creek has an 18-hole golf course.
