TROUTVILLE - Julia A. Moomaw, age 89, died Saturday, April 20, in a Roanoke hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Moomaw. She was a member of the Troutville Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Hicks and William Preston Kanode of Pembroke; sister-in law, Algilee Moomaw, and devoted friend, Vera Wells, both of Troutville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Troutville Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Peter J. Leddy Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Daleville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Troutville Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Rader Chapel, Troutville, after 1:00 p.m. Monday.
