Gerald T. Rutledge, age 80, of 3720 Knollridge Road, Salem, died Saturday. Surviving are his brother, Jesse Rutledge, Salem; sisters, Robbie Bratton, Salem; Hazel Hardy, Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in Fair View Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Clay and the Rev. David Engleman officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
