MARLOWE, ZILLA P.

Zilla P. Marlowe, of Roanoke County, died Monday in a local hospital. She was the widow of James A. Marlowe and a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol M. and Walker E. Nelms of Roanoke County; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Meredith Fox of Roanoke County; brother and sister-in-law, Ohley and Geneva Potter of Roanoke County; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lollas and Jesse Foster of Roanoke; Irene Hammed of Roanoke; Minnis and George Perez of Tazewell County; Freda Potter of Roanoke; also a number of nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Cave Spring United Methodist Church 2:00 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. William C. Logan officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
